Reminders

• No School on Monday 9/2!
• Your first 6th grade social is next Friday 9/6!  It's a great time to meet all the other 6th graders in the school.  There will also be food and games.   Permission slips are due to Ms. Huang and Mrs. Sierra by Friday 8/30

1. complete Grammar packet #2  (TAKE a look at your sentences for the last page "Loaners and Leaners", makes sure you place your commas appropriately)

History (Social Studies)

1.    Complete Study guide 3.2 (Examining Sources) 
2.    To find the reading pages follow the instructions below:

• Go to Ms. Huang's website
• Go to the left hand column and find the section titled "Files you need"
• Click on "Social Studies files"
• Then you will see a reading assignment titled "Examining Sources"  (you can view or download and print out if you want to highlight the pages)
